“A Fistful of Feathers” is a 2014 short film about a young boy’s daydream, directed and edited by ROBERT DYCK.
Chase is an 8-year-old obsessed with cowboy films. After his parents kick him out of the house for watching too much TV, he enters his own spaghetti western and must confront two ravens that cross the line. Shot on RED EPIC with the motion mount and Leica glass.

Asher Smith (Asher Zivon) is an 11 year old actor that has been featured in a variety of roles ranging from television to the big screen. Asher is currently represented by the Savage Agency in Los Angeles. His recent projects include playing young Bruce Wayne for Warner Brothers, lead roles in award winning short films and several commercials.
Sean Allen is an actor and musician living in Portland, Oregon. He is an active fisherman, hiker and nature enthusiast. This is his first film.
Christopher Showerman was raised outside a small farming community in Michigan. He became an Eagle Scout at 14 and remains an avid outdoorsman and archer today.
After earning a music composition degree from MSU, Showerman moved to LA where he has performed in several high profile projects, including The O.C., CSI Miami, Lion’s Gate’s Sea Of Fear, SyFy’sLand That Time Forgot and Big Game with C. Thomas Howell. He also starred as George in Disney’s George of the Jungle 2. He just finished filming and producing the upcoming Music Drama Radio America and also starred in two upcoming psychological thrillers: Lady Bug and Vitals.
An advocate for youth, Christopher has trained many young people in music, athletics, and acting. He has coached teams with Special Olympics and has created a personal development/esteem building seminar he has presented to various youth organizations.
Lyndsey Lantz originally hails from the cornfields and lake effect snow of Northeast Ohio. An alum of the National Theatre Institute, her credits include various theater roles and other festival-bound shorts including Darcy, Slide, Ink, and A Dog’s Life.
Lyndsey was recently awarded Best Actor by the Women’s Independent Film Festival for her work in Blackout. She is currently in production on a new web series entitled Penny, Urned, as well as an independent feature film.
DIRECTOR
Robert Dyck is a freelance cinematographer, A.C. and lighting technician living in Los Angeles with a specialty in RED Camera technology.
He received a BA from the School of Journalism & Communication at the University of Oregon in 2011, focusing on writing, photography and multimedia storytelling.
His portrait photography has been recognized by the College Photographer of the Year Awards, Associated Collegiate Press and the Columbia Scholastic Press Association. This is his first narrative short.
